We took a long road trip up North to introduce Campbell to his G-ma and Poppy. We also had the opportunity to see Aunt Lori & Uncle Mike, Aunt Judy & Uncle Ronnie, & cousin Chad. *And we also had two very short visits with Uncle Aaron, Aunt Amanda, and cousins, Chloe & Owen, during our "pit-stops" in VA (thanks). Poppy really enjoyed Campbell...and we think the feeling was mutual - Campbell was having a blast sitting with Poppy and squeezing his fingers. Oh yeah - and Aunt Aly went with us!
Jennifer and Joseph Gabriel are the proud new parents of Mary-Grace, born 2-11-09 at 10:21 am...6lb.2 oz. and 19 inches. Mom & baby are doing well. We love you guys!
We have lots of deer that come to graze (9 deer at this particular time) - aren't they beautiful. Travis puts out corn for them..and they love the annual rye grass too.
Cooper loves to watch the deer...she is very patient and will sit forever watching them in the yard (it is amazing that she can even see them - but some how she spots them...and just watches with curiousity). One night we all joined her - and watched one buck and two doe grazing in the backyard.
Campbell played his little heart out when he got home from school today - but is wasn't too long before he was passed out...snoring away (yes - he snores)!
Campbell started with rice cereal after his 4-month wellness check-up. This is his 3rd time eating it...still doesn't love it...but is tolerating it better! He makes the funniest faces - trying to figure out the spoon...and the consistancy - and most of the cereal ends up on his bib. Then of course - he washes it down with some good ole' milk!
Campbell is learning how to hold and manipulate his toys - which is really fun to watch as he discovers the world around him. Here he is playing with his doggie (thanks to Angie Brown) - which plays music and is so soft and snuggly. We were also having him practice sitting up...which lasts only a few seconds - before he TIMBERS over!
